PATH seeks Deputy Director for the Better Immunization Data (BID) Initiative in Tanzania.

Written by

Hello all,

We wanted to share that PATH is looking to hire a Deputy Director for the Better Immunization Data (BID) Initiative in Tanzania. This critical "chief of staff" role will support the Director for the BID Initiative in Tanzania, and other pending digital health projects. The goal of the BID Initiative is to achieve sustained increases in immunization coverage through support for country-owned, country-led policies, practices, and information system tools that enable evidence-based decision-making. This initiative represents a unique and important opportunity in global health to build and deploy at scale an information system focused on improving routine immunization at the national level.

The Deputy Director will also be a key leader for PATH’s Digital Health Solutions program. The Deputy Director will provide an overarching view across BID and other projects, ensuring that the workstreams of multiple teams are on track, playing a key internal leadership role to ensure efficient management of donor resources, completion of milestones, and facilitation of communication with key partners in Tanzania as well as an external role interfacing with the MOHSW, donors, and other NGOs across the sector.
