    Dr Chris Seebregts is a founder and the current Chief Executive Officer and eHealth Director of Jembi Health Systems NPC, and Chairperson of the HealthEnabled Board.

    He is also an honorary associate professor in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has a PhD in chemical pathology from the University of Cape Town and postgraduate degrees in computer science and software engineering from the University of South Africa.

    He has worked in the public and private sectors in biomedical and informatics research, information technology management and software development. He is part of the OpenMRS leadership and is recognized internationally as an expert in eHealth.

    He has a vision for improved global health through the development of effective and efficient health information systems, growing partnerships and building local capacity in developing countries.

His work encompasses a variety of activities from managing projects to supporting policy-making. He also engages sporadically in short-term consultancies, such as feasibility studies or project appraisals.

    Md Munirul Haque, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist in Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, Purdue University. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in SECuRE and Trustworthy Computing Lab (SECRETLab) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Previously, he was a member of Ubicomp lab, Marquette University, USA, from where he received his Ph.D. in 2013. His academic studies and training have made him an expert in the area of mobile based real life applications. He led a group of researchers who developed the very first mobile-based remote symptom monitoring and management tool for terminally ill rural cancer patients of Bangladesh. He is currently working on medical device alarm data collection and analysis to improve patient safety. He has received several awards for his research works including best paper awards in COMPSAC 2007, CHI 2012, and RACS 2013. He has more than 35 publications in top journals and peer reviewed conferences. His field of interest encompasses security and privacy in pervasive health, m-Health, and HCI (Human Computer Interaction).

    Dr Shariq Khoja has been a leading scientist, innovator and planner in Health Systems for over 15 years. Dr Khoja leads global operations of Tech4Life Enterprises, which is a social enterprise for developing innovative Health and Learning solutions for the emerging world. Dr Khoja has developed highly innovative mobile health solutions for improving access to care in several countries of Africa and Asia, along with low-cost devices, such as digital stethoscope and non-invasive health monitors. Dr Khoja has worked as the Director of eHealth for the Aga Khan Development Network, and Technical Advisor for United Nations Foundation on mobile health. He has also been the recipient of several awards, such as Rising Star in Global Health by Grand Challenges Canada, and Grand Challenges award for improving mental health in Northern Afghanistan. Dr Khoja has written over 40 papers and several book chapters, and holds over 10 patents for innovative technologies and tools.
